When I was younger, I never thought about what I was eating. Of course, I did think before eating soap, though. But what I mean is, I never thought much about eating a dead animal. Until five years ago I ate what I thought was food. But then mom decided to become a vegetarian about five years ago. I still didn't think much about eating meat, but since mom was eating that way, why shouldn't I try it out too? So I tried it out. Some of the vegan alternative's to meat were gross, but some didn't taste too bad. So I became a semi-vegetarian. I ate some meat but I didn't eat it often. And I still had milk and eggs.

And after a while I started to understand exactly what meat was, I had always known it was animal. But I had never thought of it like a dead animal. weird, huh? But it's true. I never really had thought of it as animal flesh. At first, I used to say "yuck" to meat because I had decided I didn't like meat anymore.

Now I say "yuck" to meat because it's dead animal. Now I think of hot dogs as dead pigs ( Good bye, mister hot dog. You won't bark at me anymore trying to tell me you're a dog instead of dead pigs). Now I think eggs as dead baby chicks. Now I hate the happy looking chicken drawing at the store by the chicken. I wouldn't I have thought these things a few years ago. Now I do. Do you?
